About Us

Global Red Telephone Boxes
The red telephone box lost its voice.
We’re putting it back, forever. ❤️

Crown Booth® transforms one of Britain’s most iconic public symbols into a new form of creative infrastructure. An icon once built for public connection is now being rebuilt for public creation.

By repurposing red telephone boxes into modern recording environments, Crown Booth® preserves cultural heritage while expanding access to music, voice, storytelling, and self-expression. What once connected people through conversation is being reimagined to connect them through creation.

We believe the future of creativity should be more visible, more accessible, and more public.

Our Mission

Crown Booth® exists to lower the barrier to creation while preserving cultural heritage.

Too many creators still face the same obstacles: expensive studio time, limited access to equipment, lack of private space, and too few environments designed for creative work. At the same time, historic public infrastructure that once served communities has too often been left underused, overlooked, or disconnected from modern life.

Crown Booth® turns these challenges into opportunity by restoring purpose to an iconic object and using it to power emerging talent, community storytelling, and local creative economies.

What We Are Building

Crown Booth® repurposes British red telephone boxes into modular, studio-ready spaces for recording and creative expression.

Each booth preserves the recognizable exterior identity of the red telephone box while housing a modern interior built for high-quality audio creation. Booths will include acoustic treatment, studio-grade microphones, intuitive session software, smart access controls, cloud-based file delivery, and AI-assisted user guidance.

The result is a self-contained creative environment that can be deployed across cities, hotels, airports, campuses, cultural destinations, and public-facing venues.

Crown Booth® is designed for both indoor and outdoor use and can function as a permanent installation, cultural activation, or event-based deployment.

Why It Matters

Crown Booth® is more than a booth. It is a public invitation to create.

For decades, the red telephone box stood as a visible symbol of connection, access, and shared public life. As technology changed, many of these structures lost their original use. Crown Booth gives them a new one.

We are not simply preserving an object. We are preserving meaning.

By turning a familiar piece of cultural heritage into a productive asset for the creative economy, Crown Booth creates a bridge between past and future, memory and utility, symbolism and access.

This matters because creativity should not be hidden behind exclusivity. It should not belong only to those with private studios, expensive gear, or insider access. It should be present in the places where people already live, move, gather, and imagine.

What Makes Crown Booth® Different

Crown Booth® stands apart because it does not begin with new real estate. It begins with a globally recognized cultural icon.

Rather than building another private studio concept, we focus on visible, public-facing access. Rather than separating culture from technology, we bring heritage, design, professional audio tools, and intelligent session support into a single platform. Rather than treating the booth as novelty, we treat it as infrastructure.

Crown Booth® is built to serve creators, institutions, and communities at the same time.

It is both symbolic and functional. Historic and contemporary. Public-facing and professionally equipped.

Who We Serve

Crown Booth® is built for a wide range of users and partners across the creative and cultural landscape.

For creators, it offers accessible, high-quality environments for recording music, podcasts, auditions, interviews, voice notes, spoken-word performances, and other audio-based work.

For emerging talent, it creates a more affordable entry point into creative production.

For cultural institutions, councils, and municipalities, it offers a way to activate public space while preserving heritage and supporting community engagement.

For hotels, airports, campuses, festivals, and destination partners, it creates a distinctive cultural experience that is both functional and memorable.

For brands, it offers meaningful placement within a project rooted in access, creativity, and identity rather than passive advertising alone.

Primary Use Cases

Crown Booth® supports a wide range of creative and cultural applications, including music recording, podcasting, interviews, voice acting, auditions, spoken-word performance, education modules, creative workshops, cultural activations, and festival installations.

Its flexibility allows it to operate as both a practical recording environment and a broader platform for discovery, participation, and engagement.

Technology with a Human Purpose

The technology inside Crown Booth® is there to support creativity, not complicate it.

Our goal is to make the recording experience intuitive, welcoming, and efficient for both first-time users and experienced creators. Depending on the use case and deployment model, Crown Booth may include smart locks, identity verification features, cloud storage and delivery, remote collaboration tools, service marketplace integrations, and AI-assisted session support through RED, our smart assistant.

But the core principle remains simple: reduce friction, increase access, and help more people create.

Cultural and Social Impact

Crown Booth® sits at the intersection of heritage preservation, public art, and creator-first infrastructure.

We see the project as part cultural restoration, part creative platform, and part civic innovation. Through partnerships with foundations, councils, educational organizations, and arts institutions, Crown Booth aims to prioritize access for emerging talent and underrepresented voices while creating new possibilities for local cultural participation.

This is not only about recording content. It is about creating places where stories can begin.

It is about making creative opportunity more public, more inclusive, and more visible.

It is about turning an abandoned symbol into a living asset once again.

Our Vision

We believe cities need more than buildings, transport, and commerce. They also need places for imagination.

Crown Booth envisions a future in which creative infrastructure is embedded into everyday life. A future in which iconic public objects are not discarded, but reactivated. A future in which a young artist, a poet, a journalist, a student, or a visitor can step into a familiar red structure and leave with something new: a song, a message, an idea, a memory, a beginning.

That is the future Crown Booth® is building.

Press & Partnerships

Crown Booth® collaborates with cultural foundations, local councils and municipalities, creative education programs, arts organizations, media partners, and destination-based venues that believe in the value of public creativity.

We are giving the red telephone box its voice back, and giving more people the chance to find theirs.
